Why this course

The recent focus on Large Language Models has brought discussion of AI applications further into the mainstream of business. The potential application of AI tools and methods for innovation in business processes is clear. However it is essential that these tools and technologies are applied responsibly and for the benefit of people and society.

Implementation of AI tools and processes is often described as the technical and data debt of the organisation falling due at once. This course helps learners understand this issue and develop a responsible and responsive business strategy to implement AI responsibly.

Delivery

Delivered over 2 half-day sessions, this course cuts through the hype to familiarise learners with practical issues in the development and implementation of AI and AI-enabled processes, including addressing the importance of fundamental concepts in data management, the relevant regulatory frameworks, and importance of data management fundamental in successful AI execution. The course will also delve into ethical considerations, risk assessment methodologies, and strategies for aligning AI innovation with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) commitments.

Drawing on Castlebridge's experience in R&D on AI solutions for data governance and data protection challenges, along with our track record advising companies in various sectors (e.g. MedTech, Government, Utilities) on strategic use of data to support organisation transformation and innovation, this course is designed to provide learners with practical, actionable insights on how to navigate a complex technical, ethical, and regulatory landscape.
